Our company is in an exciting growth phase where we are launching new products, expanding our team, and reaching new markets. We seek a deeply scientifically curious scientist to join a diverse, interactive, collaborative, and highly supportive molecular biology team. The Molecular Biology scientist, under the supervision of the Molecular Biology Project Leader will join our team of researchers to create new constructs that are the cornerstone of all projects within the company. Everything starts with a plasmid!
In addition, this role will interact with other internal teams and partners to understand their projects and provide scientific guidance on appropriate scope of work using Integral Molecular technologies and platforms.

The Application Scientist will become an integral part of the team, collaborating with virologists and cellular biologists to develop pseudoviruses for characterizing therapeutic antibodies and vaccines. Our product puts us on the forefront of developing reagents used in the global responses to new, emerging and evolving viral threats. You will use your expertise to spearhead marketing initiatives and educate external customers about our product. You will contribute to the development of new products and services by researching customer needs and collaborating with research teams to develop tailored solutions that address those needs.
This position offers a hybrid work model with 3 in-person workdays and remote flexibility for the rest of the week.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, dynamic team focused on discovering antibodies for treating various diseases and developing novel technologies in antibody discovery. Your role will involve isolating, enriching and identifying antibodies with therapeutic potential as an individual contributor and a valued team member.
A desirable candidate will have a background in immunology, cell and/or molecular biology with the skills to make antibody libraries and complete cell transfections. Prior knowledge of working with antibody sequences and familiarity with high-throughput automation systems is a plus!

We need someone with excellent technical and organizational skills to assist in maintaining the MPA libraries while still being a collaborative and supportive team member. A desirable candidate will have the skills to culture mammalian and/or bacterial cells and perform DNA mini-preps. Familiarity with flow cytometry and liquid handling robots are a plus!
