Who We Are
Innovation is the heart of our company, and our scientists have developed 6 novel technology platforms to address some of the most challenging problems in therapeutic discovery. Our technologies have been published in over 600 papers and patents, including manuscripts in Cell, Science, and Nature.
Integral Molecular is a founding member of Philadelphia’s biotech community, launched by a team of scientists who met as graduate students and postdocs at the University of Pennsylvania. Our core leadership team has worked together since 2001 to build the company from a two-person laboratory to the industry leader in membrane protein solutions.

Environmental Commitment
Our science matters, and so does how we do it. We’re working to reduce our environmental footprint while advancing the research that drives better therapies.
One uCity Square, the building that houses our lab and office space, is on track for LEED Silver certification, reflecting our commitment to efficient, responsible design. We’re also taking concrete, science-based steps to lower our emissions, including streamlining processes and sourcing renewable energy.
By 2030, we aim to reduce our direct emissions (Scope 1) and energy-related emissions (Scope-2) by at least 21% from 2025 levels. For more details, read our Carbon Reduction Commitment (PDF).
Research Facilities
Our 50,000 sq. ft. research center is heavily invested in state-of-the-art cell and molecular biology, robotics, high-throughput instrumentation, and technology to enable us to solve difficult challenges and advance therapeutic discovery.
Integral Molecular’s research facility is located at the junction of innovation and entrepreneurship within the University City Science Center, the country’s largest urban research park. Surrounded by top-tier universities, medical centers, and biotech companies, Integral Molecular thrives with an energetic backdrop of technology and talent that includes the University of Pennsylvania, Spark Therapeutics, Amicus Therapeutics, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Wistar Institute.
