CURRENT POSITIONS
Qualified candidates for open positions will have demonstrated adaptability in various disciplines and an interest in assay development using emerging technologies. In addition to helping commercialize Integral’s products, candidates will be involved in projects that are expected to result in a number of research publications.
Virologist (Job #100418). This position will involve working at a biotechnology company with a dedicated group of scientists on the development and commercialization of biomedical technology-based products. Projects will involve working with viral vectors, designing novel viral tools, and investigating virus biology. Projects may involve work with Dengue virus, West Nile virus, Hepatitis C virus, influenza, HIV, MLV, baculovirus, and/or phage. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and at least 4 years of relevant experience in the virology field. Experience and training in the fields of Virology, Immunology, and Cell Biology may be relevant for this position. The candidate must be attentive to detail and capable of effective communication, including presenting at team/company meetings and interacting with other teams of scientists that will rely on your work.
Biochemist (Job #100419). This Ph.D.-level position involves assay development assessing the function of enzymatic and other proteins interacting with their partner molecules. The candidate will have experience with protein enzymology or signal transduction and will have relevant experience in protein expression, protein folding, and the assessment of protein activity. Experience with structural modeling and structure-function analysis of proteins is desired. Experience with GPCRs, ion channels, or membrane biochemistry is a plus. The candidate should be highly inquisitive, have excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to address challenging scientific questions. A Ph.D. and 0-2 years experience is required.
Research Associate I (Job #090306). This position will involve conducting laboratory research and supporting general R&D operations at Integral Molecular. The position will involve both research and production of biomedical research products. You will be working with a dedicated group of scientists on the development and commercialization of biomedical technologies. Projects may involve cell culture, virology, DNA preparation, liquid handling automation, and cell-based assays (western blot, ELISA, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry). The position requires a Bachelor's degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of laboratory and cell culture experience is desired. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow protocols, and must be attentive to detail.
